Ultiqa Shearwater Resort Caloundra, Caloundra

The hotel has a lovely compact room with a nice view and friendly staff, but the cleanliness standards have really dropped and the discomfort of the bed was quite disappointing. While the location is appealing for a beach getaway, the overall experience was marred by numerous cleanliness issues and misleading dining options that left a sour taste.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and enjoyable, especially with the soothing views of the beach. The staff was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. However, I found the dining options to be rather limited, and the facilities could use some upgrades. Overall, it offers great value for a beachside retreat, but don't expect modern luxury throughout.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right across from the beach and close to plenty of dining options.
